Fell Apart
Date:July 13, 2015
Mine ripped somewhere between the first washing and first wearing. Limited customer service was great about letting me return it though. Aside from that, it was just an ok top. I didn't think it was super flattering on me but I got some compliments the one day I wore it. One thing about this really drove me nuts though. Every other Limited top I have with roll tab sleeves has two buttons on the cuffs. I always button them to the largest setting when I'm rolling them up which I find helps them stay in a neater roll. This one only had a single button - which was sized for my wrist and not my upper arm so I also spent that one wearing futzing with the cuffs that kept half unrolling. After dealing with that, I was actually kind of glad it fell apart because I probably wouldn't have worn it all that often.

Good fit, bad fabric
Date:July 9, 2015
I'm pear shaped and typically on the border between a S & M. My lower half often needs M in a cut like this I opted for a S tall based on the reviews talking about the top being big. Honestly, I thought it fit well and wasn't overly tight on my lower half at all. It just seemed a bit unforgiving in the sense that it would require a slip and when I tried it on with tights, I wasn't thrilled with what I could see through the fabric. I would have kept this had the fabric had more weight/structure to it.

Pleats! :(
Date:July 7, 2015
If the description mentions pleats anywhere, I don't see them. They are pleated and for that reason, there was no way in **** I would consider wearing them after I tried them on. Pleats do no favors to anyone without a washboard stomach. These would have been nice without that. Please, let's leave those awful, unnecessary details back in the 90s forever.

Ick
Date:July 7, 2015
Looking at the model, I thought this probably ran big but it did not. It fit me completely differently, not billowy at all. I pretty much expect some level of sheer from almost every Limited blouse, this one took it to a whole new level. I don't even think the photo really shows you just how sheer this really is.

More please!
Date:July 7, 2015
I am 5'9 and bottom-heavy. On the whole, I need S shirts but when they're long, M usually isn't really generous enough to handle what I have going on "back there". By the time I try a large, everything else is swimming in excess fabric. This is like a gift from heaven! The side slits allow it to lay the way it should on me. The asymmetrical hem does a great job of minimizing my width. If the Ashton can come in 85 different colors/patterns, surely you can make a couple more of these!

Tinkerbell
Date:July 7, 2015
This fit ok and while I've had other dresses that were this same bright green color, the organza overlay really made this look like a Tinkerbell costume and kind of childish. I'm not sure where one would wear this. It didn't seem like it was professional enough for work but it was too little kid-ish for going out.

Weird Fit
Date:July 3, 2015
I'm generally a M on the bottom and S on the top. I'm 5'9. The length of the regular size M was fine for me even for work. It just fit weird. It was all around billowy north of my butt and then way too snug on my rear end. I'm also blessed there so if you're smaller in that general vicinity this would probably work better so you. Below that it was fine. It's a cute print and seems well made though.

Great for a casual office
Date:April 22, 2015
I’m a bottom-heavy and generally wear a size 6 but based on reviews, I ordered an 8. When I’m standing in these, it feels like the waistband is gaping but as far as I can tell, sitting or standing there’s no actual gap that’s visible to other people. The net effect is that even though I’ve had a couple of kids and am not rail thin, I can actually get away with wearing a lower rise pant without any muffin effect. My inseam is around 32/33 and the tall is a hair longer than one would expect with an ankle pant but I have a feeling that’s to compensate for the fact that the Spandex will shrink over time if you dry these. If you air dry your pants and you’re on the borderline between two inseams, definitely consider buying the shorter one if you want it to fit like the model. Overall, these are super flattering and a great option for going out or if your workplace allows denim. FYI, these come with a tag that expressly says the color can transfer to other fabrics.

Love!
Date:April 22, 2015
I have the classic pear-shaped issues where my waist usually needs a different pant size than my hips/rear and thighs. I pretty much always expect that pants I order online will have to be returned. I decided to order an 8 instead of my usual 6 and they fit so well it’s like they were custom made. Zero waist gap! I’ve had kids and the rise was absolutely perfect. My inseam is around 32-33 and I went with the long length. If, like me, you tend to be right on the border between regular and long, definitely go for the longer inseam. The pocket style on these also eliminates the gaping issue that comes with a standard side pocket. These are so flattering for us bottom-heavy ladies. I got the navy and it’s so dark that it can be mistaken for black.

Runs Small
Date:April 20, 2015
With sweaters, I tend to size up to a M so that they're a bit roomy. The M was tight on me (and this is coming from a 32B/34A) - and not a cute tight either. I probably could have gone up to a L or even XL in the non-tall. This was actually a normal warm sweater weight rather than the paper-thin sweaters I've been seeing at The Limited in recent years. It was an itchy fabric though.

I have larger calves from sports and dance. Would these still work on me?

Probably but order at least one size larger than you normally wear. I run and do lots of squats, lunges and the like so I also have trouble with snug fitting pants being too tight in the calves and/or thighs. I'm a 4/6 and ordered a 6 but I'm going to need at least an 8 to make these work.

Is the waist on this dress is elastic?

Does the material in the waist gives alittle? This will determine if I order a size 12 or size 14
Nope, the waist doesn't stretch at all. The only elastic is the shoulder straps.
