Cute Skirt
Date:February 20, 2014
I bypassed this skirt online and in the store, but decided to give it a try on prior to leaving the store. I was glad that I did, it really does look a lot better on than you would think. With the side pockets, you can either dress it up or down, and it does fit pretty try to size. It really is a cute skirt ladies.

Perfect Sweater
Date:November 10, 2013
I was looking for a sweater long enough to wear with leggings and boots, although I wish this one was a little longer- it does provide enough coverage to wear with leggings and still look appropriate. I have a hard time finding sweaters that don't contain acrylic which I can't wear- this one I can wear comfortably without irritating my skin. It also fits true to size.

Super Cute
Date:November 10, 2013
I am usually not a turtleneck person, but this one actually feels pretty good on. The description fits it perfectly, it really is figure flattering. The change in color detail going down the sides accentuates the waistline nicely. If you like turtlenecks - you will love this one.

Its Back!
Date:November 10, 2013
I was super excited to see this skirt in black as I purchased the blue one identical to it back in the summer. It is a really nice skirt and fits nicely. The only problem I have is finding the right top to wear with it, I haven't wore my blue yet for this reason. I don't really like tuck-in tops, but you don't want to hide the belt or the peplum detail. Other than that, as with all TL skirts - another winner.

Elegant Summer Top
Date:July 27, 2013
I purchased this top in black. Although the description is black and white, it appears to be black and cream or beige. It runs true to size, and makes for a cool, comfortable and elegant little summer top. I plan on pairing it with a pair of dressy beige bermuda shorts. This one is a good buy, especially when you can get it on sale.

Super Cute!
Date:July 27, 2013
I love peplum tops but I usually bypass them because they always seem to come up a little higher on my waist then I like. When I saw this one, it was so cute, that I had to try it on. I was really glad that I did, it is a very cute sweater, and will look really nice with a black pencil skirt. It also fits true to size, I wear a medium but usually have to go up to a large in TL sweaters, but this one was perfect. Caution - if you have a little spare tire around the middle, you may want to either wear some sort of shape wear or maybe opt not to get this one - It does show all before it gets down to the peplum.

Too Cute!
Date:July 27, 2013
I love TL skirts, so needless to mention this one is a keeper. I think it does run a bit small and I say this because I can usually fit an 8 in TL skirts - but because I am a little bigger in the hip and butt area - I had to go up to a 10. The only problem I am having is finding the perfect top to pair with it. I don't too much care for tops that tuck in, but at the same time - I don't want anything that will cover the belt since it is so cute and really accentuates the skirt. But non-the-less, cute skirt and worth the purchase.

Seductive but Classy
Date:July 13, 2013
I had imagined a mini skirt with a maxi sheer overlay and had in my mind exactly what I wanted. I had even went so far as to do a Google search, but the hits I got were all cheap looking. So imagine my surprise when I logged in to view TL's new arrivals - and there it was. I immediately called and had it held until I go off that day. The only problem I encountered was with sizing. I normally wear a medium or an 8 in TL skirts, with this particular skirt, the medium was way too big - the small was much better, and I could even get into a extra small however, the small fit better without the inside skirt clinging or riding up. Yall, the skirt is absolutely beautiful, and paired with the right top (the one it is paired with in the picture really does not do it justice) and the right strappy sandals, will make for a stunning evening outfit.

Beautiful and Classy Dress
Date:April 15, 2013
I ordered this dress online bc my store did not carry it. I normally can fit a 6 in TL dresses, so I followed suit and ordered it in a 6. Although it did fit a little snug at the top, it didn't gap or pull apart at the bustline like others mentioned. The only issue that I had was the pleat going down the top of the backside of the dress. Rather than laying flat and closed, the pleat was open, which proved that it was a little tighter than it was surpose to be. Since it really didn't look too bad, I pondered over whether to keep it or exchange it for an 8. I finally decided to exchange it, but by that time they had sold out of the navy all together, sooo I had to drive an hour to the nearest town to exchange it for the 8. I am so glad I did bc it fits so much better, and is so much more comfortable. This dress is a knock out ladies, and very flattering to the figure.

This one is a keeper!
Date:January 31, 2013
I love TL skirts, and this one did not let me down. I was a little concerned that since it is pleated in the back as well as the front, that when I sat down and get back up the pleats would not fall back in place - but I think that because the fabric has a little weight to it- the pleats will probabily be ok. At least I hope so, but it was worth the risk since it is super cute. I am now on the search to find the perfect top to pair with it to give it that pop - perhaps a nice spring sweater. Can't go wrong with this one yall!

Sizing

I wear a 00 in all regular sized clothes that LM offers. I have to get hemmed. I cannot tell from the measurements provided if a 00 in petite will fit.
The model pictured wearing this skirt is probably really tall. I am 5'4 and wear sizes 6 & 8 in TL skirts so I always wear regular sizes versus petite. this skirt hit me right at the bottom of my knee. I would prefer that it be a tad bit longer and considered having it let out a little, but I will probably keep it as is. It really looks cute on. Hope this helps.

Is there a lining under the overlay?

It looks like there is a lining or a tank top under the overlay in the back but the description does not say anything about a lining.
It does have a tank under it, as a matter of fact - if you don't want the tank part to come down as low as the overlay, you can tuck it under and it still looks very nice. The overlay flows really nicely in the back.
